Job description
As our Email Campaign and Loyalty Manager, you'll play a crucial role in strengthening relationships with our customers through strategic email communications and our loyalty program. You'll help tell the ILIA story - from our clean formulations and sustainable packaging to our skin-first philosophy - while driving engagement and retention across our digital channels. We're seeking a detail-oriented and customer-centric partner to join our Ecommerce team. In this role, you'll partner in the development and execution of email marketing strategies while managing our customer loyalty program to drive engagement and retention. You'll be instrumental in connecting with the top tier of our community by developing targeted communications that educate about our loyalty program offerings.
This role is hybrid and open to candidates based in Southern California. This role will report to one of our offices—Century City, CA, or Laguna Beach, CA—once a week. This is a full-time, regular position.
Key Responsibilities:
Project management, cross functional partnership in campaign development
Brief, build, and deploy targeted email and SMS campaigns using Klaviyo and Attentive
In partnership with Senior Manager of Lifecycle and Loyalty, develop segmented email strategies based on customer behavior, preferences, and clean beauty journey – specifically for our VIP members.
Manage ILIA's loyalty program, creating engaging experiences that reward our community while reinforcing our brand values
Oversee the loyalty program operations including point systems, rewards structure, and member communications
Analyze loyalty program data to identify trends and opportunities for program enhancement
Create and test compelling loyalty program offers and promotions to drive member engagement
Collaborate with creative teams to develop email templates and visual assets
Maintain customer database quality and ensure compliance with email marketing regulations
Job requirements
4+ years of experience in email marketing and loyalty program management with a CPG brand
Proficiency with email marketing platforms (Klaviyo preferred)
Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making
Excellent writing skills with ability to maintain consistent brand voice
Understanding of clean beauty industry and consumer trends preferred
Experience with A/B testing and campaign optimization
Knowledge of email marketing best practices and regulations
