Job description

The Director of Global Creative Operations will lead the overall creative and marketing process, driving the marketing calendar, project management, and photo shoot production to ensure seamless alignment and delivery of all marketing campaigns and brand experiences.

This role is hybrid and open to candidates based in Los Angeles, CA.

Responsibilities:

Integrated Calendar and Marketing Alignment

  • Oversee and drive the seasonal marketing process, ensuring timely and efficient execution of all related quarterly and monthly meetings to support streamlined initiatives across all channels

  • Ensure marketing strategies are aligned with product launches, seasonal trends, and promotional events to maximize brand exposure and impact.

Project Management

  • Develop and implement effective project management practices to drive efficient workflows, timely execution, and successful completion of all creative projects.

  • Establish clear project goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation to achieve optimal outcomes.

  • Oversee PM team and provide support by monitoring project progress, identifying potential roadblocks, and providing solutions to ensure on-time and on-budget project delivery.

Production and Photo Shoot Management

  • Oversee the production process for marketing assets, including photo shoots, videos, digital content, and print materials.

  • Collaborate with the creative and production teams to maintain high-quality standards and ensure assets are delivered on schedule and within budget.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners to enhance production capabilities and cost efficiencies.

  • Partner with the VP of Creative to manage budget allocation and resource planning for all photo shoot productions.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Provide strong leadership and mentorship to the creative operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and innovation.

  • Facilitate professional growth and development of team members, encouraging a high-performance mindset.

  • Foster cross-functional partnerships to enhance collaboration and promote a seamless workflow across departments.

Budget Management

  • Work closely with finance and marketing leadership to establish and manage the creative budget

  • Monitor spending, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure budget compliance throughout all production and marketing activities.

Job requirements

  • 8+ years in creative operations or project management within a fast-paced, creative environment (CPG/beauty preferred)

  • Proven experience leading and developing high-performing creative teams, fostering collaboration, and driving efficiency.

  • Strong ability to implement and optimize workflows, manage timelines, and allocate resources effectively across multiple projects.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.

  • Expertise in creative project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Wrike) and digital asset management (DAM) systems.

  • Team player with a growth mindset and collaborative spirit
