Job description
ILIA Beauty is looking for Associate Social Content Producer who will own the production and execution of social-first content across the brand’s digital channels, bringing campaigns, launches, partnerships, and always-on storytelling to life. This role manages creator relationships end-to-end—including sourcing, briefing, contracting, and content approvals—while collaborating with photographers, videographers, and influencers to produce high-quality assets. They also ensure seamless content calendar execution by coordinating assets, copy, and publishing needs so social content consistently supports broader marketing and business goals.
This role is hybrid, open to candidates based in Southern California and will work on-site at our Century City, CA office at least 1x week. This role reports into our Sr. Social Strategist.
Role & Responsibilities
Planning & Coordination
Manage content calendar execution
Anticipate upcoming needs (campaigns, holidays, partnerships) and proactively plan content to ensure readiness across all social channels
Ensure Social Coordinator has final assets and copy for publishing
Ensure Freelance Social Support has final assets and copy for weekend publishing
Keep the social checklist active to ensure every post drives business goals
Tagging correct retailers, spotlighting core SKUs, and new launches
Act as a strategic voice in meetings to ensure social content ladders up to larger business and marketing objectives, from press moments to retailer expansion
Production
Lead and execute all social content production across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Pinterest Boards, and Facebook
Own creator identification, outreach, contracting, and management
Briefing + content approvals
Maintaining relationships with creators
Making sure they are being communicated with and paid on time
Develop briefs, shotlists, and ROS
Manage monthly shot list for external content creators to guarantee timely asset delivery
Manage talent contracts
Content Creation

Support tracking the hero content budget to ensure consistent monthly creator contracting
Track all payments and ensure creators are paid on time
Job requirements
2-3+ years of experience in social media content production within beauty, fashion, lifestyle, or consumer brands
Strong understanding of social-first storytelling and platform best practices across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Pinterest, and Facebook
Proven experience managing creator and influencer partnerships end-to-end, including sourcing, outreach, briefing, contracting, and content approvals
Experience coordinating and producing social content shoots, including developing briefs, shot lists, and production timelines
Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple campaigns, creators, and deadlines simultaneously
Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, creative, and external partners to ensure social content supports broader brand and business objectives
Strong creative eye with the ability to identify compelling visual storytelling opportunities and emerging social trends
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills when working with creators, freelancers, and internal stakeholders
Passion for beauty, culture, and digital storytelling, with a strong understanding of the evolving social media landscape
Preferred: Network (“rolodex”) of photographers, videographers, stylists, and micro-influencers preferred
